Triam Foundation Uganda is a nonprofit community based humanitarian organization mandated to curb down the existence of non-communicable diseases specifically, cancer, diabetes, hypertension and mental illness.

It aims at saving the community from life threatening non communicable diseases and covers the districts of wakiso, kasese, Bulliisa, Kibaale, Hoima and Bundibugyo. It is however currently operating in Wakiso district. It is run and operated by local Ugandans. Read More

On behalf of Triam Foundation Uganda, and on my own behalf, I take this opportunity to appreciate you for taking interest in the foundation.

Triam Foundation Uganda is mandated to confront Non Communicable Diseases in the community a task that is enormous and requires sustained and concerted effort.

Cancer, diabetes, hypertension and mental illnesses continue to be a challenge in the community mainly due to lack of awareness and knowledge about them, strong cultural beliefs attributed to witch craft and curse. In the same breath, patients usually present late to health facilities where some of these conditions are in advanced stages and irreversible for example cancer. Read More
